Linda Hopkins originally from New Orleans, Louisiana was discovered by Mahalia Jackson when she was 11 and became her protege. "It's In Your Blood" was written by disco legend Billy Nichols as well as being produced by Bert DeCoteaux who also worked on Lonnie Liston Smith track in the 1978 “Space Princess”.
